Air Quality Testing

Our indoor air quality testing service deals with the content of air in your home and determining how safe it is. Your air quality can be compromised by microbial contaminants (mold, bacteria), chemicals (such as carbon monoxide, radon), allergens, VOC’s (volatile organic compounds) or any other stressor that can result in unwanted health effects.

Why You Should Have Your Air Tested

Every day, we are all exposed to environmental pollutants that pose risks to our health.  Some of these risks are avoidable while others are not.  Indoor air pollution is one such risk that you can do something about Evidence suggests that the air inside our homes can be more polluted than the air outside.  Other research indicates that people spend approximately 90 percent of their time indoors.  This results in breathing in large amounts of polluted air without even knowing it.

At Mold Inspection Testing, we focus on discovering and remediating the contaminants that are compromising your home and your quality of life. We will provide you with a detailed report on your indoor pollutants; their levels, composition and the sources of contamination.

What We Test For

We use a variety of techniques for analyzing your indoor air quality. Air samples and material surface samples are two common methods that provide us, and you, with a variety of information. We can also test the level of airborne dust which can signal poor ventilation as well as the temperature and relative humidity levels in your home so that optimal comfort can be achieved.  We also test for chemicals in your air such as carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) and we even check Radon levels which can tell us about potential problems with your basement.
